Amazing Camera!

The optics and features on this camera are unmatched. I've tried most other commercial fisheye lens offerings and this camera beats them all hands-down. Axis builds a quality product. I've had multiple 3007's out in the elements for years through heavy snowfall and 110-degree heat -- this camera is bulletproof. It delivers images consistently with zero maintenance. The UI is user-friendly and the on-board processing is incredible. The 3007 can host multiple dewarped views simultaneously without requiring a separate dewarping station and without strain. The m3007 can also run custom motion detection programs on-board, for accurate threat detection. I'd buy another without hesitation. Far better than I had hoped, especially given the questionable competition in this area!

We have had 23 of the Axis 212 (prior model) in a library since 2008. The reliability has been outstanding. We mounted them at the top of stacks because of their ability to see 360. Pedophiles are one of the biggest issues and they think because they are directly below the camera they can't be seen. Guess what, they're wrong! Also, the ability to use software to follow an person as they move is great. We also have this newer model and have no issues at all. I'm wondering if some of the other reviews are mounting the cameras wrong, or terminating them wrong, or incorrectly setting them up in the software. Also, we tried four of this type of camera from another manufacturer whose cameras were in the same price range. All failed within a 2 year period, but since 2008, we've only had to have 6 of the prior model repaired and these were cameras that faced windows with a lot of sunlight, and since 2012 none of these.
I have 4 of these, they perform as expected ...
