Not actually 7" tall as described. I measured it at 6" tall. Could use that extra inch at least for my bird which is why I am not giving it 5 stars. Fit easily around the cage. Hoping it will do a good enough job or I will have to search for an actual taller one.

I love this little seed guard, I got this for our finch cage, it is in our kitchen and my wife was tirelessly having to clean seeds every day, it has cut her work down to about once a week instead...I am not sure how these little guys get seeds around this thing, it is pretty high and wraps around the bottom very well.
