This review is strictly for fit, I can't vouch for it's performance when sparring since I bought it for Halloween. I am 6'5", 240 lbs with a more athletic build - 36-37" waist. The length was borderline too long - I hiked it up pretty high, and if I didn't I risked tripping over the bottom edges when going up stairs. Otherwise, it was great, very roomy, very durable.
