If you're like one of those people that only likes the tops ...
anonymous•May 27, 2016
I bought them because my camping buddy pressured me into it. They are huge and look gimmicky. Probably 3-4 times the size of a regular large marshmallow used for toasting. I wasn't even convinced they would fit on the graham cracker or cook all the way through without burning the outside. But OMG...
If you're like one of those people that only likes the tops of muffins, forsaking the rest of the muffin, and the crispy, caramelized, golden part of a toasted mallow is your favorite part of a s'more, THESE ARE FOR YOU. If you want to stick only one marshmallow on and get three toasty marshmallow outsides out of it, THESE ARE FOR YOU. If you are experimental with food and think it would be sooo awesome if you could make a dessert cup out of the exterior of a large toasted marshmallow, THESE ARE FOR YOU.
What happens is you toast it, the outside gets golden, the layer right under that is melty, and the center is raw. SO, you can pull off that outer crust layer all in one piece (it's easy because it just slides off with the melty layer, and it looks just like a cup), and then put the remaining marshmallow center back over the fire for a second toasted marshmallow. And even that bit still doesn't cook all the way to the center, so you can eat the outside golden and melty part again, and put it back over the fire AGAIN for one last toasted marshmallow. THREE TOASTED MARSHMALLOWS IN ONE.
Forget the s'more. I just want to toast these giant, 3-in-1 marshmallows. It only takes about two to get a major sugar rush. One bag will probably be enough to satiate your entire scout troop.
P.S. I found these at a place that has a red bulls-eye for a logo. ;) Check them out.

I do understand the feeling that you are paying too much but it seems like this time of year suddenly this product (and all other summer supplies) have disappeared from all the stores to be replaced by school supplies. I was not thrilled with the price either but they are a gift for my grandfather who just discovered them and can't seem to find them. I looked at almost all my major pharmacies and
supermarkets, even some department stores. It seems like store managers seem to feel summer is over. I feel bad for all the kids who have really just started summer vacation and every time they go to a store for stuff to make smores all the they see are pencils and notebooks. It is still summer people!!

I saw these at the market at 2 bags this size for $5 bucks if you buy 1 and this cost $30 bucks for 4 bags. I'll never order from these folks again.
