i couldn't find these boots anywhere and i'm glad i did dad loves them

Really like these boots! There are only a couple minor things that could be viewed as a negative. The first is the size; these boots run a half to a full size big. The second is the insert; these inserts are probably great for most people, with the added arch support but I can see how some people with a flat foot might not like these. Both of these "negatives" are easily worked around since we can buy a half size smaller and take out the insert if needed.

Overall these boots are great! They are comfortable and stylish! I would recommend highly for everyday use.

There was definitely a breaking in period for this boot. The leather was very stiff when I first put the boots on. It took about a week to get them broken in to where they were comfortable to wear. After the initial break in period, they were my go to boots. They could be worn to work or worn as a more casual chukka boot. I wore them almost daily for about 8 months. After this point, the leather on the inside of the boot began to break down. I think was a combination of living in a warm climate, constant wear and tear, and some stitching issues in the boot. Overall, a great boot that I still wear from time to time. Would and probably will buy again.

Putting these boots out of commission after 6 months of daily use. I place rebar. At this price range, nothing beats the comfort and nothing beats the swag you think you gain. Hindsight, really you still have no swag, I digress. I like the way they feel and the way they look. Nothing has them beat in the looky feely department at this price. Durability? The soles are thin so they'll wear out but the leather is strong and will withstand. It took me under 6 months to wear the sole down to the welt under my forefoot. I highly highly discourage slippy slidy surfaces when strapped in these boots because the tread wears off. The leather on the otherhand is strong and there isn't much stitching to blow out. The boot is still intact after much action packed angry, happy, yelling induced psychotic hysterically working making no sense I'm an iron worker. At this point, I feel if you're complaining about these boots you're over seeing the comfort and it's caressing nature the boot has upon your soul in such a crude and unforgiving environment. Yes. They don't last long. If you're looking for a marriage click out of here but if you want that old fashioned intimate feel for the low low price you can't expect that to last forever.

Edit: Laces usually don't last long in my trade. I wore these boots with only tie wire holding my feet in, hence the weird look.
