The price was right, but as others have explained, it's not a full flow valve. The actual opening that allows flow is significantly reduced from 1/4" down to what appears to be 1/8". I like the compact design and the butterfly handle and those were the reasons I purchased the valve. I will hold onto it because I can probably use it for a different application, just not what I initially purchased it for.
