Great "Quality" tool that will last a lifetime. I pressed on a new Master link and flared the pins the first day I got this tool and it was a smooth as Butter. Shipping was light speed and this is an Authentic RK tool. Not a flimsy imitation. Thank You!
A quality tool for reuse

Buy this. If you work with chain occasionally buy this. Its a good quality tool and after 10 uses I have no impression the tool is degrading. Dont chance it with a crappy chinese knockoff.

Like so many before I bought a cheap chain tool just to have it break and leave my chain not installed. Bought this and within minutes the chain was finished. Great build quality and it is built for just motorcycle chains. It doesn't double as a cam chain tool so I'm guessing that is why it works so well it had one purpose and that is big bike chains. I wish it was more affordable but I guess you get what you pay for.
The correct tool for the job makes a difference.

I tried to cheap-out and rivet my new RK chain with the Harbor Freight chain breaker. I got the first rivet done and measured, but the pin broke pressing the 2nd rivet, which in turn ripped the side of the rivet. I threw away that tool, ordered a new rivet link along with this tool. It took literally 5 minutes to properly rivet the chain, with all measurements to spec. Perhaps there are other ways to get the job done, but if you want to do it with less hassle, get this tool.
