I was looking for a replacement for the TJ product that I had been enjoying for several years. This is bland but not too bad. I won't buy it again. About the same as the Bonne Maman you can get at the grocery store. Service by the seller was great and the product came quickly and was well wrapped.

Spouse is Hungarian. She bakes Hungarian cookies that required Apricot Lekvar. Prime Lekvar is selectively available, but not Apricot. She has been making her own Apricot Lekvar but it takes work. Found this Apricot Fruit Spread made in Austria and felt it may be an Austrian version of Hungarian Lekvar. She has been eating it as a normal spread and believe it is exactly what she wants for her cookies.
