Nice pool cue for the money

Took a chance on 3 of these for some 'home cues'. Previous other brand I ordered lasted about 2 mos before the thread/string wrap started to let go completely, and they felt super cheap and light. For the price, these are nice cues. NO String wrap on them at all... the whole bottom half is alloy type metal, and feels solid-heavy. People have said the tips come off, well that's not unusual for any cue- and not at all a concern for me. For $ 5-6.00 you can get a clamp/glue kit.. The wood is higher quality and very straight. I'm very happy. Also each came with a little blue towel- super handy for a little talc. May add another star, will see how they do over a few months of use.

I purchased this pool cue for my son. He's not the most gentle creature. With that in mind, my primary goal was to buy a nice looking but definitely reasonably priced cue. I expected to replace it. The price was right. The cue itself is really great looking. So far, he hasn't broken it :) Honestly, it's comfortable to use and pretty. If my stick ever bends or breaks, I'd buy this one for myself.

I like this stick. It has a good weight and looks nice. I play pool 3-4 times a week, and this has served it's purpose. I wouldn't consider myself a professional by any means, this is perfect for casual play. I've owned it for several months, and it has MOSTLY held-up to expectations. Part of the wrap is coming off, but it's not bad enough to throw off my game. There is also a slight indentation in the handle, but it's not bad. I don't think it was a shipping error, the box was completely intact. Probably just a slight oversight that now works as a thumb grip. For the price, it does just fine!

The Cue's look very good and have enough weight to them that they are nice to play with. The only thing keeping them from 5 stars is that out of the 2 I ordered neither are strait, it doesn't affect how they play too much but enough to mention.
