Fine art bags are normally size labeled based on what size will fit inside (meaning they automatically give an allowance), so I bought these thinking I read a review saying someone used it for a 5x7" card. My bad, the actual size of the entire bag is 5x7 and my cards did not fit. The bags are what I expected in quality - can't complain, but artists beware!

I use these to fill with goodies. Specifically, I used them to fill with chocolates for Valentine's Day and malted Robin Eggs for my son's Easter basket. These are a nice size that holds plenty of treats, and the adhesive closure makes my gifts look neat and professional! I will use these for lots of future projects, and I know they will work great to send baked cookies to my son when he leaves for college in a few months.

These are perfect if you have cardstock or paper that are 5"x7" as there is a big enough margin to allow wiggle room. I can put 6 - 110# 5"x7" cardstock in the bag with enough space that I don't have to bend or cram the cards in. I use these for my sticker shop as well, and can comfortably fit 12 sheets, no problem, with room for more. I just choose not to over fill them. The adhesive is easy to use, and you can actually open and close the bag multiple times and still has decent adhesive.

I was having a little Easter Party for my daughter and wanted to put out Japanese Style Strawberry Dessert Sandwiches (basically a sandwich using Shokutan bread layed with a light whipped topping and sliced strawberries). I bought these for a totally different reason than the other people who have commented. I bought them to wrap around the stems of a small bouquet.
I tested one to see if it would hold water (Just filled and used a twist tie). It sure did - for 3 weeks - until I got tired of looking at it and dumped it out.
This item is plenty sturdy, well made, and I am pleased to have found it. Plus - If you have anything with moisture to put in them I think they will work great.
