Skratch is THE best hydration/electrolyte replacement drink on the market
Digitali✓ Verified PurchaseMarch 17, 2018
Skratch is THE best hydration/electrolyte replacement drink on the market. I've used the Hydration, Everyday, Chews and Bars. All have been great (I'm not a big cranberry fan re: the bars, but...).

I'm an avid cyclist and I've never bonked using the Hydration mix. The flavors are great (raspberry, orange and pineapple are my faves). 1.5 scoops in the larger bottles and you're good-to-go! It's light flavor, no after-taste and proven results beat the rest. You'll may also get a little 'treat' in your order. :)

Thanks Skratch Labs.
No Miracles

I'm a semi-avid cyclist and hydration drinks have never worked any miracles for me. This product is really no different in that respect and won't do anything that plain water and salt would do.That said, it tastes fine and is supposed to be all-natural. But, I'll probably go back to Nuun tabs, because they are cheaper and more convenient.
This is my game day drink of choice.

Delicious and light tasting. Healthy hydration for those who plan to sweat a lot. No sugar like store bought mixes. I play roller derby and this is perfect for intense practices and games. I also bought it for a family member who spent the summer working outdoors in 100+ degree heat (every day - hottest summer on record since early 1900's) and he said it helped him feel more focused and less heat stroked. Highly recommended.
Good taste, works well for distance training rides.

I am on at least my third bag of this mix. A friend suggested it a few years ago, for training. I use it in one of my bike bottles, and have a second bottle of plain water. This gives a good amount of energy and calories to keep me from getting too hungry on a long ride. It doesn't make me jittery or mess with my stomach at all. I feel like it's really balanced. Because I read a review in the beginning about it getting hard when exposed to water, I have been meticulous about keeping my scoop dry, squeezing the air out of the bag when I reseal it, and storing the bag within another ziploc style bag to protect it from moisture. I've never had a problem with it hardening on me. I'm starting to branch out and try other flavors of this, but this one is the one I can rely on to buy in bulk and have it taste and work great.
Skratch Beats Tailwind!

Great product! I used Heed last year for three 50K races and didn't really like it. It has a sickly sweet taste and that usually made me nauseous toward the end of long runs, not to mention the fact that it doesn't have much sodium & potassium which requires you to also take Endurolytes (also made by Hammer - go figure). After signing up for a 50 miler this year, I knew I had to find an alternative. I switched to Tailwind based on a recommendation from a friend and really liked it, except for the taste. No nausea, no cramps (good balance of electrolytes), and no need to eat too much (good fuel source). That taste is just off; it's hard to explain, maybe like water that was put into an unwashed gatorade bottle. In comes Skratch. I switched because it's what North Face uses for the ECS. It's everything that Tailwind is but with a much better taste. The Lemon/Lime actually tastes like citrus. I was a bit nervous first using it on a 25 mile run but had no issues at all. I mixed it at recommended strength and didn't notice the calorie difference from Tailwind. This will be my go-to drink for running and cycling now. Freeze your second/third/etc. bottle and it will taste even better.
