Husband Loves It

I purchased this for my coffee-lover husband as a birthday present, and he is crazy about it. He says it gives a stronger mug of coffee than traditional drip makers, closer to espresso. He also loves how easy it is to use and clean, without any waste from filters or the like. This made a wonderful birthday present and was a great purchase.
Coffee Geeks UNITE! If you love coffee and are willing to spend 20 minutes on an iced coffee... buy this.

This is the best investment I've made for under $20 this summer. You can't skimp on the coffee however. Also, this is a labor of love device. You can't rush a coffee out of this on the way to the office. It takes 10-20 minutes to make it properly. Be ready for that.
Coffee Lover's Must Have Utility

Being from India, a huge fan of the stainless steel filter coffee maker and no electric coffee maker in the world that I've tried comes close to the brewing coffee with that taste. While looking for that kind of a filter, stumbled upon this one as it is very similar in the way it is constructed (i.e. stainless steel, bottom filter with an inner filter insert for really strong brewing). And the best fact - this one is placed on a cup to brew individual coffee which fits my life. Tried it today with the Kirkland Rwandan Dark Roast Coffee Beans (grounded of course!). The coffee that came out took me to heaven! With a splash of whole milk and a tsp of raw turbinado sugar, this is the closest to Indian filter coffee.

Works as intended! Will only do one cup at a time, though. (My boyfriend had one that had a screw inside to adjust the tension on the coffee, allowing us to filter about 2~3 cups per batch with 2 1/2~3 1/2 tablespoons of coffee; with this one, 1~1 "heaping" tablespoon is about all it can handle, but I may try again when I order more Trung!)

Not a very big deal, however, since I'm an AVID tea/coffee drinker, the 20~25 minutes I have to wait in between for my coffee to brew makes me step back from it for a while, haha!
