I apply my makeup in the morning in an unusual way...I sit on a little stool in front of my wall-length, mirrored closet because my bathroom is tiny with virtually no counter space. This little rolling cart is perfect for storing all my makeup, brushes, sponges, and a tissue box that I use daily. To make it work more effectively, I first place everything in separate organizing containers and cups and THEN place those on the cart. That way nothing falls out of the sides, and little items like mascara don't get lost. I mainly keep it in one place, but I don't have problems rolling it over the rug when I need to. However, it probably wouldn't work too well on shag carpet.
I wouldn't recommend using this cart for heavy items. It's good for small, lightweight, knick-knacky things such as a nail polish collection and nail accessories (in fact, this is what the cosmetologists use at my nail salon). Also, take note of the height as it is quite short...but perfect for someone like me who is sitting low to the floor and reaching for several items of cosmetics. Personally, I love it!

Cons - the bottom screw holes were drilled slightly off, so it tilts just slightly once the wheels were attached. I saw the dimensions, but it was still a bit smaller than I expected.
Pros - It rolls great. I'm in a wheelchair and it's perfect for me to place items in to roll from one place to another. Fits under my desk to be out of the way. The baskets are smaller than my plates but I purchased some rectangular plates that fit perfectly so I can make a meal and roll everything to my table without having to make multiple trips or risk dropping something.
WISHES - I wish one basket had compartments, for small items, glassware, or silverware. Even a small, round or square "pocket" that could be attached to the outside to hold a drink would be a great accessory.
