Took 5 months to receive the ants. When they arrived only 5 were alive out of 20 or so I would guess, and after burying their dead, the rest proceeded to die within approx 3 days. Don't waste your money here....Horrible product and service.

The pleasures of being a grand uncle are getting away with sending a breakable plastic toy full of sand and ants to the east coast into my niece's toddler's arms and getting away with it.

Hard to keep any ants Alive! But a lot of fun for a day or so. My kid loved it and was so excited to get it that's the plus !
Update: We caught some bigger ants and they are doing very well! And my child loves this thing! The tiny ants just didn't do well for some reason.
