This hat is wonderful! My head does run a little smaller, but it still fits great and I receive a lot of compliments on it! It is a little "Newsies"- esque but I love the 1920's style as much as the next Gatsby-hound! Great for when I can't tame my bed head or need something to protect my hairstyle from a windy day. Fits perfectly (my hat size is 61, just as the XL claims to be), and I suspect it would fit a bit larger head (62 or maybe 63) as it has the ability to stretch a bit. I would probably give it 4.5 stars if Amazon allowed, as 100% cotton doesn't have quite the style-level of a linen cap---but doesn't cost as much, either. I liked it so much I ordered it in gray as well.
