Great for Watching Movies on the Plane

I got this to hold my tablet while I am on the plane. It is perfect. It fits in the case with my tablet, and holds it very well. I have a Samsung S6 mini tablet. Let's me watch video without needing to hold the tablet up.

Simple, compact, highly functional, the is the perfect bedside stand for my phone/alarmclock. It's also easy to take along on a trip since it folds into a tiny space. It doesn't work well for a tablet with a cover, but it allows me to adjust the angle of my phone by moving the two arms. I liked this stand so much I bought a second one for my wife.
Okay for a phone in landscape mode.

This is a pretty, inexpensive gadget but did not really fit my needs as I thought it might. It folds up nicely and is very compact, but it falls over easily as I use my phone on my desk next to my computer in the vertical (as advertised) up-right position rather in the long landscape way. In the upright mode the phone is too top-heavy and will fall with not much of a touch at all. So it is not good for use where you do a lot of touching to navigate or to read. I can't imagine trusting this stand with a tablet.
After a couple of spills I decided to go back to my own home-made folded cardboard stand as that one is sturdy, safe, and secure.

Nice small, sturdy stand - works w/ iPad mini

I got this because the newer leather Apple cases for the iPad mini only have a 3-segment cover, rather than 4, which means when you wrap it back on itself, the stand it makes isn't as sturdy and slips out of place a lot because the leather is so soft, it doesn't really have any friction. I can JUST get the iPad mini with its case into this stand. It makes it stand a hair more upright than I'd prefer but still does the trick. Used it on a cross-country flight and it worked just fine. Folds up nice and small into luggage.
