After owning several cheaper basketball goals that fell apart in as little as a year, we bought this one as a long-term installation. It is heavy and the quality is excellent. Buyer should be aware that the first step in installation is to attach the rear bracket to your house, and there is no hardware provided for that purpose. I spent most of the installation time making trips to the hardware store and drilling into the brick of our home. It has 10 hole provided for attaching it to your home.

Once I had the bracket solidly attached, putting the rest of the goal together was a snap, took about an hour. The instructions are easy to follow and the hardware is provided and fits perfectly. It took three adults to assemble because the goal weighs over 200 lbs, but it is, by far, the nicest basketball goal we've ever owned and my hope is that is will last for years.

We love this hoop - it's like the professional hoop you would find at the university basketball courts. For us, we feel like we are in our local recreation center, we added this to a sport court flooring and all the kids think our court/hoop is "sweet". It was delivered with kid gloves - unscathed - but rather heavy to hang (you will need a friend to help). Other than that - this is a winner, definitely Porsche version of basketball hoops - you wont be disappointed!
