Burns off too fast

I purchased this because it had good reviews and the heating element on our pellet stove just wasn't working very well. This stuff burns off almost as fast as straight rubbing alcohol. It burns off too fast to actually catch any of the pellets on fire. Pretty disappointed. Sadly, I'm afraid it's because I bought it on Amazon, and there's been A LOT of stuff going on where products are swapped or diluted. Be very careful when ordering things like this or cleaning supplies, etc. On Amazon.
Wouldn't buy again

You have to use so much to get a fire and even then it takes a while to get a good fire. We used it in our pellet stove.

This really works. It lasts a long time. I only use it when the woodstove is cold and I need to make sure the smoke goes up the chimney before adding wood. I put a little on a smokeless fire starter chunk and wait to see the smoke through the outside pipe. It keeps burning for a while and heats up the whole pipe before adding the wood. Have bought it more than once.
Barely flammable. Won’t light pellets

Bought this in place of our usual fire starter because of the good reviews. Wish I had read the bad reviews before buying because it doesn't work at all for lighting our pellet stove. Lesson learned
Not worth a penny...

This stuff is terrible! Barely lights, goes out as soon as you close the door, and you have to use half the bottle to even get those results. Very disappointed.
