It leaks...LISTEN TO THE OTHER REVIEWS

I should have listened to the reviews. It definitely kept my water cold, but the cap is strange. You have to really mess with it so it closes right, but even then, the cap has a plastic layer on top that connects to the handle. When you drink, the water seeps in there and then leaks out. I was in class when it happened to me. And it's not a few drops, it's a little stream of water leaking out. Only reason I gave it 2 stars is because it did keep my water cold.

The Bubba 72oz sports jug is an excellent product,The fluids inside the jug keeps cold for a long time in the hot days of summer and keeps hot when the weather is cold. Whatever temperature the fluids you put in the jar it stays as is for a long time.

Keeps water cool for a long time. Although not as long as advertised. Using it in Texas for sports practices. The heat is 95-105 degrees. After 2 hour practice. A few ice pieces left. It looks like it would cool longer than it does. Nice looking. Sometimes the lid is hard to screw back on. The lid doesn't line up easily. Although it does not leak, when held upside down. It doesn't leak from the spout either.

Good news is it keeps my water cold all day even when exposed to direct sunlight. I do put ice in with the water.
It does leak sometimes from the vent hole. I don't like that I need to use my fingers to pull the mouth piece out to drink because my hands are often very dirty. Seems like a problem for people that want to keep it clean. Durable enough material but it wouldn't survive a 5 foot fall filled with water.
If I broke this I would probably buy a cheap plastic alternative.

No leaks, good insulation – disappointing spout

This thing is a tank. Bubba company cups and mugs are known for their durability and volume. This is no exception. After a few hours on a 104°F day this monster held ice water so well we ran out of water and were left with just ice cubes! I have never had a problem with leaking from the spout or the screw mounted lid. One family member seems to have a little trouble getting it threaded correctly, but I have not had any problems. My only criticism is of the spout (1 star deduction). In the images it appears to be a white mouth, high-volume spout. In reality, there is just a very small hole (about 5 to 8 mm) in the wide format spout. This seems to be for no reason at all, and slows the pouring of product significantly. For those with weaker arms or smaller wrists/hands this may be a problem to free pour. They do fine using a ledge and tilting the mug. Other than that, this thing works great and with such a variety of colors to choose from what's to lose!
