Great aid to re-stringing . . .

Just be sure you have a variable speed drill. Otherwise (not speaking from personal experience, tho) you may be in for a high-speed disaster. Fits any electric drill with 3/8 drive or larger, but you may be better with a cheap cordless screwdriver if you don't own a drill or don't use that tool often. Why? Cordless screwdrivers have a much lower torque.
This is good tool to have to restring guitars

This is good tool to have to restring guitars.
I tried it on my three different guitars, all worked well.
This tool can even work on my Yamaha RGXA2.
This can save you lots of time, if you are a serious guitar player, you will get one soon or later.
Good buy!

Works as advertised and saves time

This works exactly as advertised and definitely saves time when changing strings. My only complaint would be that it goes kind of deep and can make it so it's close to the edge of the head stock on certain guitars. I can see where you could potentially damage the headstock of a guitar if you're not careful. It was an easy fix though. I just stuffed a little bit of rolled up paper towel in there so that it doesn't go as deep on the tuning pegs and it works perfect now with no worries about hitting the headstock. And that one complaint should not cause someone to not buy this. That issue is only a concern on certain headstocks, otherwise its a non issues. And it took like a minute to fix it so its really not a problem at all. I would highly recommend this product. Like I said, it works exactly as advertised and definitely saves time when changing strings. I'm surprised it took me so long to try one of these out because now I never change strings without it.
Great time saver for changing strings on multiple guitars.

This tool has actually made changing strings on my guitars fun. I use this on a little Black and Decker wireless screw driver that doesn't spin too fast. It works great on my Jackson and Fender electrics as well as Takamine and Taylor acoustics. String changes are no longer a daunting task and can now be accomplished in just a few minutes. I've found using this to be much less frustrating than a manual string winder.
Works fine, even on my 12 string

I was concerned about the size of this based on other reviews.
My concern was using it with my Fender 12 string (CJ290SCE/12--great guitar!), but I figured if it works on the rest of my guitars and ukes, I would design and print something smaller for the 12 string. Turns out that will be unnecessary.
It works fine on the 12 string, although it is close enough to require holding it carefully relative to the other tuning machines.
I also bought a B&D Cordless Screwdriver here on Amazon, which is perfect for this use, and very inexpensive.
