Excellent non-kerfed weather stripping
A.Lau•September 7, 2017
This is great weather stripping that has completely stopped any drafts into or out of the door. The door had gaps between 1/4" to 1/2". After installing, using a high powered blower, no air was felt coming from the door.
Easy to cut to length with metal cutters, but doing so deformed the channel that holds the foam so it could not be slid out any more.
Easy to install onto a wooden frame, but did not come with screws even though they are listed. (-1 star)
Don't forget to install a sweep as this kit is only for the sides and top of door frame

The product arrived with no hardware (screws). No response to inquiry. Unfortunately I had destroyed the box and it was simply not worth it to return it. I assumed this installed in the grove in the door jam. Not so, it attaches to the outside of the jam. Unclear instructions. Didn't want to mess up with door jam with screws - the original gasket was subsequently purchased at a big box store for about 1/3 the price. No advantage to this product and a lot of disadvantages
Great Weatherstip Kit

I have a 15+ year old door that has warped a little top and bottom. Nothing from Ace, Lowes, Home Depot, etc. would stop the drafty leak. None of the foam or rubber strips would work. This did. And very easy to install. Had to measure twice, cut once and it fit just fine.
Quality product and it sealed my door. I expect to get 10+ years out of this product.

I had an old expensive odd size door that leaked air. When it's 30 degrees outside it's not very efficient. I looked for something high quality that would last. These seemed to be what I was looking for. I had to cut mine to fit. You better get that cut right or it will be a leak. I cut mine a little long and used a grinder for a perfect fit and angle. The seal itself slides, so I cut that with scissors and it wasn't in my way while cutting the metal. I had to adjust it after initial install to get my electric deadbolt to work right. Then I used a Black and Decker thermal detector and the door is now sealed. I have less than a 5 degree difference between the center of the door and the edges where the door meets the frame. My electric deadbolt works awesome. I put a new handle on the door. It's like a brand new door, which saved me well over $1,000. If you are in my position with an expensive door, this seal is worth every penny. It's quality, it's not peel and stick or anything cheap like that. This is more like an original quality seal or better you'd get from a manufacturer. Check out that Thermal detector, it's like $25.
Packaging for screws is issue; product itself seems quite sturdy
AA in CO•September 3, 2016
I am giving it 3 stars because the packaging for the screws was a very thin, tiny Ziploc-type bag so the bag broke in transit and I am missing 22 screws. There is no way to contact the company to get new screws only; the product itself seems good quality and sturdy.
