Great runners, very useful for multiple applications. I use them for alpine draws and slinging trees and blocks, but you can also use them for other applications like clipping into a short anchor to clean, making a leash for your ice axe, etc. But you probably already know all this. They are quite light, have proven durable and environment resistent, and I have found just from handling other HMPE slings that I personally think this handles best, especially with gloves and mittens. I try to buy them in my "local" mountain store when I can so I can choose the color as I color code mine for racking purposes (another advantage), where I can also get them for a dollar cheaper, however I have had no problems with the amazon sellers.

These are my favorite general-purpose slings, I always carry two of these double-length (48") slings for building anchors and natural protection, and I keep another permanently tied on my harness as a rappel extension and safety tether.

These are the strongest ones on the market (27kN instead of the standard 22), but more importantly, these are very burly! Unlike the thin dyneema runners I use for trad draws, which seem fragile and snag very easily (a single encounter with velcro can destroy them!), these can take a beating without damage, and they don't seem to snag easily. In short, they are very confidence inspiring. And when I have to use a sling over a sharp rock edge, around a rough tree or boulder as natural pro, or two equalize a two-bolt anchor, I feel a lot better knowing I'm using one of these.

These runners are very high quality and strong. I find I uses these for all sorts of unplanned applications, having them around is a good idea.
