Worth every cent!!

How many companies have a FOREVER guarantee? We send our knives back to the factory every year or every other year to be sharpened and they always come back amazing. I've broken one and it's been replaced for free. My mother-in-law has a set from the early 80's and they are still amazing. The blade is so sharp and it holds the edge. The double-D edge makes cutting easy and the single blade is easily and quickly sharpened with an at-home sharpener when I need to put a quick edge on it. We've had our set for 17 years since it was a wedding gift and it's one of the few things that hasn't broken down....plates, china, microwave...all that stuff goes bad. These knives are just like the day we got them. Other reviewers have said the blades are flimsy....maybe if you're using it as a screwdriver or to pry open bottles. Some of the blades are a bit long like the full size carver and the bread knife, but use them what they're for you'll never have a problem. The design hasn't changed in years....why fix what's not broke? Enjoy!!

July 7th 2017 I was in Costco. Representative from curio was there, we saw theses knives all knives are very sturdy, we cut soft tomato potato and I don't see anything like this. Also Scissor that cut penny coin. Nice quality friend gave us two and we bought 2 knives and Scissors from Costco. Off course product is expensive but it is worth one time investment, will last long
