Good Treat or Light Meal Item for Fiber, Diet and Diabetic Needs. . . with Nice Flavor
eNGeeNC✓ Verified Purchase•September 24, 2017
Although not mainly advertised for diet use or diabetics, Fiber one Brownies in chocolate beat many hand-foods (don't require cooking or dishes) in both good taste and promoting a full feeling with less calories and carbohydrates and fats. The only negative I've found is that the ''chocolate chips'' in Fiber One bars seem to turn a whitish or grayish color that detracts from their wholesome and healthy appearance, although I don't believe that this indicates any spoilage or other deterioration, and taste remains good.
Good on more than one level

Delicious (if you like dark chocolate:). You get so many of these for so little cost. I was going to say they were smaller than most cakes, but not really with the constant downsizing of other snack products and they're fulfilling (esp with those choc chunks). There's got to be good fiber in them because they're better than Raisin Bran in keeping you "regular" (if you know what I mean:).
Good taste of sweets, and surprisingly filling

In trying to loose weight, my biggest barrier is a major sweet tooth. These brownie bars taste nice and fudgey, and trick my brain into thinking I'm getting a treat. As an added bonus, I find the fiber content helps keep me filled longer (whereas the sugar in an actual brownie tends to leave me craving more sweets in a couple of hours). The one downside is that they're a bit expensive, so getting them in a value pack like this is helpful.
Great product, good price!

They make a good late night snack or an awesome dessert.

My youngest daughter introduced me to these as an alternative to purchasing that impulse buy candy bar on our way out of the grocery store. They're soft and rich. They make a good late night snack or are awesome slightly warmed (watch them as they tend to melt) with a bit of soy whipped cream on top as dessert. I noticed they were an add on item. I purchased two boxes. It's far more economical and convenient than purchasing them locally.
3 of 4 boxes past expiration date

EDITED BELOW. I buy these as a daily treat for my mother. I recently bought 4 6-bar boxes of the lemon flavor and 3 of the boxes were almost 1 month past the expiration date. Not a big enough deal to return them, just be aware, and maybe ask what the expiration date is before you buy.
EDIT: As you can see from the comment below, FiberOne Corporate saw my review and contacted me. I emailed them and told them my experience, but waited for our back-and-forth to play out before editing my review. Well, they were friendly and professional, asked for photographic evidence of the expiration dates. I had already thrown away one box, so I sent them only two photos. They sent me two coupons for a free box of FiberOne bars and two coupons for 35 cents off any other General Mills products. So, I'm very happy. Good customer relations, guys. Well done.
