Mix-I-Go Is Worth It

Like a lot of you out there I am not fond of additives believing they were mostly snake oil. I've used Mix-I-Go since the early1980'S. It makes my engines run better on regular gas with a little boost in fuel economy. Back in the 80's the idle fluctuated on a lawn mower I owned. Not knowing how to fix it I decided to squirt a little Mix-I Go in the gas tank while it was running. Almost immediately the idle smoothed out. Never had an idling problem with that mower again. The car I owned then had a slight hesitation when gently accelerated. Mix-I-Go fixed the problem. I have been a believer in this stuff ever since. Trust the directions. You only need an ounce per 10 gallons of fuel.

Used it years ago & loved it. My Ex's Suburban,
with the BIG engine, he pulled a horse trailer with 2 Quarter Horses to QH races. His gas mileage went from 9 mpg to 13 mpg in 1.5 tanks (carefully calculated). Lost track of it after leaving Austin (the hubby too). Very excited to find it on Amazon...hope it's the same! I worked the #s...they worked in 1978. Measure carefully. First couple of doses (used an old baby bottle), I put into the tank when it had a quarter of a tank left....then 2 ounces, a few days later, filling up the rest of the tank. DO NOT JUST POUR... the #s won't work. No Suburban, just a 2002 Lexus RX 300 with awful gas mileage. Will update soon.

I first bought this back in the 1970's to use for my red 1964 VW Bug. It worked then. I now use it for my 1973 Volvo 164. It works now. I am also certain the gasoline today is inferior than from the past. I have problems in old and newer cars using the ethanol blended gasoline today. Just one use of the Mix-i-go will produce noticeable improvement. I will continue to buy. I just hope it is continued to be produced.

I first used this product over 30 years ago and was very impressed with it's performance in my car. It improved the mileage by about 10% and improved the power noticeably. It also stopped my car from dieseling, (it was an older car). I now use it in all my lawn care equipment to improve performance and longevity as well. Availability of this product back then was spotty, so I'm very happy to have found it again. Thanks Amazon!
