I initially bought, what I thought, was ONE Arduino UNO, for a LED project, and wound up with 2. I checked my order after delivery, and saw that I somehow ordered two, no biggie, I can use the 2nd for another project.
The boards I received are both Authentic ITALIAN ARDUINO boards.
They both have been working great. The programming can seem a bit confusing, especially coming from someone who has never programmed, but, these project boards are great for learning just about ANYTHING! Highly recommend!

Awesome board at a fair price. It looks like the real McCoy to me. I've been tinkering with robotics since I bought my wife a 3d printer and she can now print me all kinds of stuff. I had her print me a robotic hand and using a pololu maestro board I was able to make it work, but the pololu is limited as to what it can do and I've heard a lot about Arduino boards, so I thought I would give one a try. I haven't done much with this yet but will update my review when I do.

The little brochure says that this unit is "triple tested" and yet the controller chip was not inserted correctly and 2 of the pins are bent.

In my first year of electronics engineering school, I learned how to insert socketed chips. I broke a few and screwed up a few times, but after the first few weeks I was pretty good at it.

Also, there is no place to put the little rubber feet that come with it. They're too wide to fit between the various pins on the bottom of the board

Board is clearly counterfeit when compared against the official ones on arduino.cc. They have a section for identifying counterfeit boards, and this board is junk. While I understand that arduino is an open source thing, printing arduino.cc on the back (to look official) and delivering substandard parts is bullcrap. I paid a premium for the official board, and it was NOT delivered. Things to note in the photographs: The "A" in arduino is filled in, the font (especially the "O") in Uno is different, and Italy has no detail to it. All are pointing to an inferior product, and being counterfeit by the official site.

I ordered this board on 12 Jan 2015 And when was shocked to see the way it was wrapped and packed board had no packing just crudely wrapped in cardboard thin like cereal box no writing on it then shoved into a crazy low budget box which was crushed and ripped open it came with no original packaging at all no instruction booklet warranty paper nothing at all only Amazon paperwork on outside of box.. Then I inspected the board and straight away it looks like a bad fake the was it's printed looks bad dull colours and the words arduino are of alternating ink thicknesses and the O in arduino is oblong shape not a proper circle like the original also the headers and dc input are soldered on angles not straight and the USB Port has rust on the side and underneath also usually it says reset on the board under the reset button this one has no writing at all also the two circular components behind the dc input are two circular (power caps I think?) rated 25v on the originals there 16v. Soldering seems ok there's one pin with too much solder on It,
And it just looks fake when I look at picks of the original I'm like no way mines definitely a fake but it works fine I've had no problems at all I hate not getting the original box and papers to go with it and the bad way mine was packed just cements my thoughts on it been a fake Chinese knock off and what really got me mad was I used the 1 click buy system I bought this board and the book programming arduino both were approx 28 dollars total well I paid 29 dollars shipping but with conversion to Aussie dollars it came to 70 something dollars omg what a rip-off I didn't realise I paid more for delivery than the products were worth Aaargh! Il try to upload some pick to support my claims but I can't see no option to import or upload a picture I'm on galaxy s5 Amazon app

So just Beware mine does work though just looks like it's been at the pub all night got into a few fights shirt ripped black eye etc slept in a dirty skip bin, got home 24hrs later only to find his wife has left him and is dating someone else lol
