I got a sample of this in the mail from a different store and decided to give it a try. My skin is sensitive and also prone to breakouts now that I'm in my 30's. I have to say this is the best face lotion I've found in a long time since my local drugstores stopped carrying Lumene products. This lotion is thick enough to moisturize my skin but does not feel greasy and is fine to wear under my makeup without getting to oily looking. I feel like my skin has looked brighter since I've been using it. The best part - it does not break out my skin - which nearly everything does! Also, many natural ingredients in it. Love it - I got this large bottle from Amazon and have been using it daily along with the Soap Bark Facial Wash also by Burt's.

Pros:
- Moisturizes well! I am using this face lotion during the day and night in the winter months, when my skin tends to be dry. This lotion has helped keep my skin hydrated, smooth, and moisturized without dry patches.
- Quickly absorbs with no greasy feeling after application
- No break-outs
- Light scent that does not linger for too long

Cons:
- Small bottle
- The top part of the bottle (where you push the pump) is fragile. Within one week it separated from the cylindrical part of the bottle; however, I was able to set it back on and continue using.

My new favorite face lotion. I was a long time user of Olay, but the changed the formula of my usual brand and I didn't like the perfumy odor. My skin is sensitive to begin with so I'm always reluctant to try another brand--it's usually 50/50 as to whether my skin will break out. I wanted to try something more on the natural/organic side as well. Having used Burt's Bees products before I took a chance. I am so glad I did. It is thick, creamy, and light once you rub it in. I have been using it for almost a month and NO break outs. In fact I think my skin even looks better, it feels moisturized. You also do not need to use a lot. One pump is all you need, and even that a little too much...so I just rub the excess on my hands. I am very impressed by this lotion. I did not expect it to feel this good and most importantly no residue!

I've had issues with dry spots on my forehead and nose for the last year or more. I've tried several products to help, including clean and clear moisturizer, olay, and aveeno. Although olay & aveeno worked somewhat, my skin would still feel rough to the touch and if I forgot to put it on one day, then it was almost like I was back to square one.
I've been using Burt's Bees for maybe 3 weeks and it has been amazing! I use it every other day. Within a week, my skin was already feeling better and I was having less problems with dry skin. After 3 weeks, my skin is smooth and stays hydrated even on the days I don't use the lotion. Upon initial use, my skin did get a little oily the day after I applied the lotion, but now it no longer gets oily.
The smell of the clary sage is a bit odd and not really a scent I care for, to be honest. However, after the lotion drys, the smell disappears. So, if you can stand the smell for 5 minutes, you'll be fine.
This is a small bottle, but after seeing how little it takes for it to work, it should last for a while and I think it is well worth the money spent. I really can't say more great things about this product!

I've always been a pretty big fan of Burt's Bees products-- I've used everything from facial cleansers, lip balm, face lotion, shampoo... the list goes on. When I was looking for a new daytime face lotion, I turned to Burt's Bees. I found this and figured I would try it... now granted, this was at the beginning of me actually taking care of and having a good face skin routine. I always thought I had dry skin. I purchased this product during the summer. I don't have dry skin with a good skin routine-- as such, this lotion has a tendency to make my T-zones a bit oily. However, that isn't so much an issue with the lotion as me not knowing my own skin and purchasing this before having established my skin care routine. I will continue to purchase this for winter months, but not so much summer. I will say that this lotion goes on my skin great, and in my dryer areas does a great job of moisturizing without making the skin oily. I love the clary sage smell and will miss it when I have to change to something else.
