I've already returned this item. I'm not sure how anybody could possibly keep it. It's not usable. The Bluetooth reception is so bad that the music skips/hiccups even with my phone directly next to the Bluetooth receiver. I tried different Bluetooth devices, better shielded cables - nothing worked. This product is not fit to be sold.

Does what its supposed to do. Rarely drops connectivity and then only for a few seconds. Works best if you keep the source in the same room. Won't connect across the house with walls in between the source and receiver. Connects quickly to ipads and iphones. In use 3 months pretty regularly to stream music.
Almost there ... except for music 'hiccups'

This has quite good range. I have it centrally located and can stream from more than 20 feet away through 2 interior walls. However, I do get dropouts, like something is interfering with the signal, even if the phone and receiver are inches away. Not sure if this is a product defect, but I will try turning off our other wireless devices (phone & WIFI) and see if there is any improvement.
