super pleased with the mat... Very thick. I have arthritis in my left knee, so that does require me to use a thin throw pillow to kneel on for exercises that require pressure on my knees... But that is not the mats fault. Just wanted to give a "heads up" for those of us who are dealing with knee issues. It is for perfect on its own, for all my other exercises. It makes exercising so much easier.

After reading many reviews I decided to order this workout mat. I find that it is very comfortable to use while doing my crunches and other exercises. No more pain on the elbow's or knees. I would recommend this mat I feel that it is a high-quality product that I will use for a long time. Well worth the purchase price.

I really like this yoga mat, I work out at my home and I have been using it constantly for the last year. The mat folds up easily, it comes with a convenient strap, and when unrolled it doesn't stay in a half circle like some other annoying mats. In fact, I'm not sure if that is intentional, but the fact that it keeps its shape and lies flat on the ground, is all I need. Doing crunches or some of the more profound yoga moves are comfortable and well supported. Highly recommend.

Oh my GOD finally a good exercise mat!! I've been using the BalanceFrom Go Yoga All Purpose Anti-Tear Exercise Yoga Mat with Carrying Strap, Blue for awhile now and I absolutely HATE it. Everything about the HemingWeigh is superior. As you can see in the attached pictures, the HemingWeigh exercise mat is TRULY extra thick, especially compared to the BalanceFrom mat that is supposedly "extra thick high density."

I did my forward lunge stretches on both mats and you can see in the picture that the BalanceFrom mat leaves a huge dent where my knee was. You can barely tell I was on the HemingWeigh mat. There was so much cushion and it was such a relief not feeling the wood ground as I stretched. This mat is extremely high quality for the price--save yourself the hassle of looking elsewhere because this is literally one of the best exercise mats I have used at this price. I stretch for about an hour every day and having a good mat is crucial for me. I used to need to fold the BalanceFrom yoga mat to get enough cushion but I definitely would not need to with the HemingWeigh.

I could seriously gush about this exercise mat all day. It's also extremely compact and lightweight despite being so much thicker. It's super transportable with the provided straps and SERIOUSLY. If you're looking for an exercise mat, buy this one!

I chose this mat because it is a bit thicker than many of the others listed. The mat arrived quickly and was as described, and the extra thickness made it very comfortable to use, even on a hard tile floor. I can only give it 3 stars because upon opening the mat, I found that it had a very strong, distasteful odor. After airing it out, both in the garage and then outside in the fresh air, for a number of days, the odor has diminished somewhat, but it's still unpleasant to use. I'm toughing it out for now, but find I need to put a towel on the mat to help mask the smell. I don't know if this is typical of this product...I hope not, because apart from the odor, it's a very functional mat.
