The set is nice. However the hi hat assembly was missing the bit to secure the upper symbol rendering it useless. I have reached out to best products 3 times and have still not received the replacement part. The set is good for the price with the right tuning. The lower rating is based on the customer service or lack of at this point .

I am pretty happy with the drum set but am having trouble assembling the bass drum as one of the clamps used to fit the pieces together seems to be threaded poorly. I had to call to request that they send me a new clamp so that I can switch this piece out and tighten the drum. Unfortunately, when I called I could only leave a message. If they call back quickly I will improve my rating, assuming they will replace the part quickly and easily. I will write again when I get more feedback.

This kit is great if you're looking to expand it out and change heads cymbals and hardware. Came with no instructions and was a day earlier than expected. Features a 6 lug snare that is annoying at first but with minor fixes (Heads/snares/Moongel) the drum started to speak. The hardware is a definite aspect to upgrade as the hi hat stand is not that concise as others. The cymbals are the worst bargain out of all of it. Would recommend getting Meinl, Sabien Or Zildjian Cymbals. Overall the product is very satisfying and will be better with a full upgrade.

I can't give a good opinion on these being that I didn't know how to tune a kit when I bought this but I'd say the heads are cheap cuz someone tuned it after I had it for a while and it sounded good but the head did rip on the smallest tom. I moved it pretty often and the wood stayed in great shape. sticks are all good too. Oh I did have the throne s*** out on me so I'd get a different throne and new heads. After that you are all good!
