It worked on my skin but not my husband. Mosquitoes landed on his arm as soon as he went to the yard after I applied the soap to his arms.

I bought this before traveling to Cuba. I was able to cut it in half with a knife to fit it in a travel soap case. It smells great, but can be a little drying to the skin, so be prepared to apply lotion after the shower. I wore it in addition to a repellent bracelet and never once had a mosquito. I will use this for many years to come.
Works on the Amazon River

I used AsllyeAnder soap while on the Amazon River for 10 days. In all that time I had only one mosquito bite near my left eye brow. I apparently did not use it as close to my eyes and I should. When I returned I ordered more for our mosquito season which is coming up shortly.

I used this in the Amazon every single day in addition to occasional use of repellents. Overall, I came home very lightly bitten and the soap itself smells wonderful and is nice and fatty and made me happy every day I used it. Would totally buy it again.
