Wish it wasn't so good.

Like another reviewer, I bought this for a camping trip. I love it. I have been drinking it for weeks at home even after the trip (there is a huge amount of packets - 50). I mix 2 packets per mug for a stronger taste. It's gonna be hard to switch back to my normal black coffee. I honestly wish it wasn't so good because there is a lot of sugar and also maltodextrin.
Oh, Boy!

Took just two cups to create an addiction to this. Bought this for work - two packets + hot water in a giant mug creates a perfect pick me up. The balance of sweetness and strength is perfect. Will be buying more!

I buy these for my students so they can make a quick pick-me-up without the hassle of buying creamer and sugar. The aroma fills the classroom and wakes everyone up.
It tastes like coffee!

We purchased this coffee to put in a 72 hour bag for search and rescue operations. We haven't tested it in a canteen on a stove yet. Buy we did a controlled test in a mug with an electric kettle.
First impression: Coffee drinkers will be familiar with instant coffee... The blandness, the grey look with creamer... The overall lack of coffee taste.
This however is nothing like that! When I opened the packet, the aroma of coffee hit me, it was a very pleasing smell from what I was expecting.
1 packet for a cup (8 oz), 2 packets for a regular mug (16oz).
Mixed and sitting in the cup it is a nice creamy BROWN color, with a beautiful aroma. This is great because it contains the coffee, creamer and sugar in 1 packet.
Guess what? This TASTES like coffee. I was really surprised. I went into this with "Instant Coffee Expectations" and came out of it with a pleasant cup.
Apparently, this is a lot of people's everyday cup. At 26¢ per 8oz cup it's not bad I guess.
But this is PERFECT for: Emergency packs, bug out bags, and ultralight campers!

Hello everyone! The "G-7 Instant Coffee" is quite an amazement for me. BEING th coffee-aficionado that I am, I was extremely and most utterly hesitant to trying this coffee. Note that I am calling it coffee repeatedly, it is not just a regular "beverage" or even regular coffee. It has true depth. This coffee is incredible for what it is. Less than $1.00 a cup, so extremely easy to make( warm up some bottled water at 1minute 35 seconds, just PERFECT, seriously!) and then add in your sachet of coffee, stir gently(so that the first top layer does not combing/mix in with the coffee- this mikicks a cappuccino pretty well. I've had to literally switch over from drinking some of the best coffee around( true dark African Sumatra coffee beans I brought over from a recent trip) funny thing, that trip is specifally for my coffee, ha! I can't believe this cheap coffee even compares to that of my favorite dark Sumatran coffee! Unbelievable!
P.S. I would not have known AT ALL, ZILCH if my very, very good close Vietnamese friend had not told me. She is a pretty well known baker whom attended the all famous "Le Cordon Bleu" university. Anyways, I do recommend this coffee if you have a palette that of similar to mine.
