Very life like , flock heads looks great but some were scratched in the box

These are some pretty realistic decoys , the heads are flocked and look great, bodies have nice detailing , Not to heavy or so light that they will go skittering around in a good wind. But there was an issue with one body, the heads would not seat down far enough to turn and lock into place. All the heads fit pretty snugly but this body was a no go.
So I sent Higdon an email telling them the issue , had a reply the next day asking for a photo of the head socket of the body in question. Longer story shorter we exchanged a couple emails and then they had a new body on its way to me . The person I talked with was very professional and friendly, I had the new body within a week of first contacting Higdon. This is Customer service! I'll be buying more of their decoys...

These decoys are solidly built with great detail. The flocked heads look awesome! They are a good size to make them visible to geese from a distance. I will definitely be adding more to my spread soon.

I own four brands of goose floaters. These are the most affordable and are similar in quality to avian-x and big foot. I own final approach floaters as well but these are far better. the heads are flocked beautifully. the bodies are abrasion resistant for the most part. you can damage them if you try. the heads attach and detach easily which makes for simple transport. I will be buying more of these decoys.

I was having a problem with a Great Blue Heron in my Koi pond they are very smart birds and figure out stationary Heron decoys and ignore them. These Canada Geese decoys move with the wind and the current and the attention to detail on the finish make them look so real they have that Heron spooked he doesn't like company when he goes fishing. The Herron was a twice a day visitor (dawn and dusk) he landed once after I put the Geese decoys in got spooked and I haven't seen him in a month. (I monitor the pond with a Browning Trail Camera)
