Wish I had discovered these earlier. Great for clamping hoses you don't remove often, i.e., most. When it does come time for removal they're easy to pry off. No more worries about clamps working loose. Don't hesitate. Buy them. One caveat: I use these on my motorcycles. Clamping "pliers" can be somewhat cumbersome to use in tight spaces.

Really nice to be able to make these clamps, they are far superior to a screw clamp for two reasons:
1) The little loop that you create with the tool allow the clamp to expand and contract with temperature changes, making a better seal, and not cutting into the hose.
2) Stronger due to being a solid band, without the gaps for the worm drive.
