These are the best roasting forks! I love how long they are. You don't lose the sturdiness with the length either. I do hot dogs on the as well. My kids like that they can pick a color. I like that if I do a hot dog on the blue stick the kids will remember not to do marshmallows on that color 😉

I needed marshmallow sticks to make S'mores with my 10 year old granddaughter. These 8 sticks cost less that one wood handled stick at the store and work fine for marshmallows. Probably not great for anything more substantial but they got the job done.

Great for marshmallows, but less so for hotdogs. With a hotdog there is substantial bending of the product, and any motion sends it bouncing around, in my case, bumping into the logs below, hope you like an ashy dog. It's very hard with a heavy item on the end to make any motion whatsoever, such as switching hands or trying to get a little closer to the heat, without having a big bounce.

It's not impossible to use for hot dogs, but don't expect it to be super easy or well under control. If I was to buy another similar product, I'd look for something more rigid with slightly thicker metal, or shorter.

To tell you the truth, shorter might have been nicer in any case as these don't store easily in our typical camp box. They are longer than the package for our tent. We store all of our camp stuff in one of those super large Tupperware (18 gallon) and you cannot fit these diagonally in the box. I didn't let this impact my rating here, because it's clear that these are intended to be extra long, but here is the thing, if your camp fire smoke is facing towards you, you are going to get smoke in the face. If you are not downwind, it won't matter, so the benefit of this product is pretty limited to windless days and the benefit of one extra foot or so- and there are two downsides to the sticks being this long. Quite frankly I wish I'd made another choice, but not enough to spend money on a different product, so "it's OK" seemed to be the right answer.

I will say, if you are getting tiny oscar myer type dogs you may fare a little better, but with a grown-up hotdog, they are simply too heavy for this product to work in an ideal fashion. The ones we had were bun length all beef, but wasn't even the super thick type. (Nathans, standard not jumbo)

I ordered one set of these and loved them so much that I ordered three more sets for gifts. They are the longest ones out there and perfect for kids. My neighbors have borrowed these from me after seeing how far away my GRANDkids could sit from the fire. I'm sure they'll be getting some also.

These are great fire roasting sticks, very long handle which is great with toddlers, handles have a plastic type grip, four colors for color coding with my kids, they love having their own colors. These are the best price and quality I've found. The two prongs are pretty close together, so you can't roast two marshmallows side by side.
