My husband has wide ear canels so these provide an excellant fit. The traditional regular size ear plugs used to get "lost" in his ear canals and I'd sometimes have to remove them with a tweezer. No problem with these.They are a bit too long and wide for me and become uncomfortable after a while. It's important to remember that it's really difficult to attenuate or "block" low frequencies so they don't work all that well for "booming" sound but they work as they should.
They are made of a stiffer foam than those bullet shaped plugs and seal better in my ear canals

Everyone's ears are different. That said, these are the most effective hearing protection I've ever used. I have oddly shaped ear canals and I've tried nearly every type of plug out there. They are made of a stiffer foam than those bullet shaped plugs and seal better in my ear canals. These also hold in place more securely. Only downside is that a few people may find the stiffer foam less comfortable when worn for several hours straight.
Snoring partner's lifesaver

I was stuck in a small town unable to get to my supply of these earplugs and I went to the local drug store buying different brands hoping they would work. No way did they work at all. I suffered from my husband's snoring all night long. I went back to a different store and bought small boxes of different brands and they did not work at all either. These are the only ones that work. The red color is to allow you to know where to twist it to insert each into your ear. I reuse each pair until I realize I can hear him despite the background air filter noise. I am a loyal customer. Do not ever stop making these.

best earplugs ever. I've been using these for years and maybe every two years order a new box.
They are comfortable, very quiet and can be used for sleeping, reading or any time you need concentration.
I have tried many many earplugs over the years and when I got these, they were the best of all. They don't hurt your ears and have a secure fit that guarantees enough silence to hear yourself think.
