The shave cream smells terrible as well

Save your self the time and money. Buy a shave ready razor, the stone that comes with this kit is not the correct kind for the blade. The shave cream smells terrible as well.

the stone is not great the razor is good and will help you start shaving with a straight razor!

As the product says it's a Beginner's set. It serves the purpose of learning how to hone and strop a blade. I would not use this for shaving. My intention with this set is to give my students hands on learning. Not of the best quality but a great purchase.

Purchased the Straight Razor Beginner's Shaving Set for my husband. He Loves it. Gives him a really close shave and is more practical than buying package shavers or maintaining and replacing electric shavers.

The brush for the cream broke during the third use the handle for the blade is plastic and flexible which males it hard to shave with there should be some type of instructions for use maintenance
