These hose clamps are the type I have used for many long years without ever a problem. What more can one ask from a hose clamp? They come in different sizes, they are easy to tighten and loosen and they are made of stainless steel for durable long life. You NEED hose clamps. I don't use them on hoses much, but I am sure they work. They are great for all kinds of handy-man things where you need "part A" to stick to "part B" and you aren't proud about how you get it done.
