This Outer Cloth Bag With Latching Connection Collar was ALMOST PERFECT ! The only issue I had is it is a little shorter than the original, maybe an inch and a half ?!? Consequently, the paper bag is a little too tall for this outer cloth bag, so the duct tube to the top of the bag could kink and restrict the dust from getting to the top of the tube and dumping into the bag. Simple fix is to cut an inch and a half off the bottom of the paper bag duct tube, where it attaches with the garter spring .. FIXED .. Russ Pratt, Webster, MA

With a little modification this worked on my Royal as a zippered outer bag replacement. Untwisting a steel support wire and removing the unwanted connector. Rewiring a small gauge coat hanger wire around my old Royal connector, bunching the excess material and twisting till tight. Cut the ends off and tuck along the curvature. I was able to get mine to work.

This is our first commercial vacuum for use at home and was recommended to us by a company that cleans our floors. After reading many reviews, I decided to get this model and convert the bagless vacuum that is lightweight with a long cord to this bag with disposable paper bags. I didn't want to have to empty the bag with our allergies and have the dust seep into the air, not matter how careful I am. This bag fit perfectly. I had a handyman who does lots of work for us change it out and I'm so glad he did. It works great. I wouldn't know to have ordered all of this if I hadn't read reviews by customers first. Love the Sanitaire vacuum. Really picks up the dirt and the vacuum has all replaceable parts too. Will last for many years.

I bought as a replacement for the shake out bag. The fit was perfect.
Update: I just purchased a second bag as a replacement for the first one. There was no problem with the first one. I'm a carpet cleaner and used my vacuum on a disgusting, urine filled carpet. I thought the urine was dry. I WAS WRONG! The moisture from the urine, combined with a couple pounds of pet hair, clogged up the part of the bag that attaches to the base. After it dried, I was having to scrape it off with a screwdriver and punctured a hole in the rubber that was letting dust in between the outer and inner bag.
It had been a great bag and way better than the shake out bag that doesn't provide good filtration and are messy to clean.
