Was fairly easy to assemble

Was fairly easy to assemble. So far has held up fine. 60 pound child uses for Schroth. One of the long vertical pieces was slightly bent but nothing that affects the performance. Made it slightly harder to assemble.

Stall Bars!!!!
San SamNovember 12, 2016
Directions are pretty bad but it does not take much to figure out how to put it together. This item is for my children. The wood is beautiful and my kids are so excited to use it. Unless you are crafty and have tools this is by far the cheapest option on the market.. ships for free with prime so Im ok sending it back if it doesn't hold up...
Very useful strength and flexibility tool
kemilieJune 25, 2016
My daughter does gymnastics/dance and stall bars are a great strength and flexibility aid. After discovering them at the gym I wanted a set for our home but many of them are crazy expensive! At the time I ordered this set (18 months ago) I was a bit hesitant due to some reviewers noting poor quality/the top bar splintering/a crazy hard time putting these together. *But*, I decided to go for it anyway because the price was great and I wasn't eager to try and build my own stall bars from "scratch". :)

I'm delighted that I took a chance on these! I'm not the most handy but it only took me a couple hours to get these all put together. I had to tap with a hammer in a few spots to get the rods into their holes but I'd rather they are tight than too loose! One of the back two mounting boards was a bit warped but not enough to interfere with the ability to install.

My children use these all the time. They weigh between 40 and 70 lbs and we've had no issues. I hang from it sometimes (115 lbs), but after reading the reviews about the top bar splintering I'll admit I haven't hung much from that very top one. :) The kids do once in a while but use the stall bars more for leg tucks/leg raises/split stretches/L holds/etc. I wouldn't advise having grown men do pull up competitions from the top bar. You'd need a heavy duty (and much more expensive) set of metal bars for that. I've ben very pleased with this product for our uses and feel like it's a great value.
Serves our purpose

These are fairly well built. We use them for our child's scholiosis therapy exercises at home. The serve that purpose well. However, the supporting side pieces that hold the bars were bent outwards, wood slightly warped. This made install much harder than it needed to be. For a $250 set up, though it works fine.
