So, I waited to play this game because I don't like to believe the hype. But as soon as I played this game I was hooked and had to purchase it. I had no problems purchasing or downloading it. The only downside is that you have to go to this other website first before you play it and I think that sucks because if you purchase something, why should you go through a third party, create an account (even though it's free but it's a hassle and an inconvenience) just to play it? I am glad that I did finish this game even though I thought it would take me longer because like I said it's addictive and I ignored things like working out and cleaning the house for two days...lol. But it's over now so I am back to doing the really important things in my life. But it was fun to escape reality and kill some zombies because they wanted to eat my brain!!!

In order to install the PC download of this game, I had to have an internet connection. I tried downloading the install file, and since it was 1.2 GB, I thought I wouldn't have to have an internet connection to get it setup. Well, it uses Origin, and you have to create an account with them before you can install and use the game. To create the account (you guessed it) you need an internet connection! The game is great, the method of delivery not so much. I miss the old days of the plain setup files, no accounts (and more passwords) needed.

After we got it up and running, my wife has been using it as her go-to game. It has a good bit of challenge, and she really likes the nice variety in the mini-games. All of the munching sounds get a little annoying for me, the innocent bystander, but she's been nice and muted the sounds when I've complained, as the sound is not required to play. She's been playing now for about a month, and she hasn't gotten bored with it!

I brought this game and tried to download it on my new computer with windows 8, and it wouldn't download. So I had to pay for a game that I couldn't have. Fair, NO WAY. I contacted Amazon about this for a refund, and they wouldn't do anything to make it right. Even after I have brought 3 Kindle readers and many books from them. From now on all I will buy from Amazon will be the books for my kindle. They did give me a link to contact, but it did no good still couldn't download the game. So I went to Fred Meyers Store and brought the game, as I should have done in the first place instead of trusting a download from Amazon.If Amazon is having issues with the company they gave me the link to finish the download then they should work out the issues with them, and refund or give us credit towards perhaps a book for our kindle? Instead of just blaming it on another company. What a headache. I spent all of Thanksgiving day trying to cook and download this game....at least the dinner came out well :)

I had a heck of a time getting this thing to work. I downloaded it from Amazon and kept getting messages about updating my Windows. I already have Windows 10 (recommended) so I was chatting up the EA support folks. Well, long (very long actually) story short, I needed download the Origin software and create an account first. Then under the Origin menu at the top, click on Redeem Product Code. Boom! It worked perfect after I finally did it right. My advice is do not download directly from Amazon! This is not a new game. The kids and I have played it before and we all love it. We have beat the Zomboss several times but still enjoy playing.

When I buy a game, I buy the game and nothing else, I don't want extra junk on my computer trying to sell me more games every time I try to play. Welcome to EA Games and Origin. While Plants vs. Zombies is a great game with hours of fun game play, along with it you will get a client that must be run every time before you start a PvZ session. Of course this client is supposed to help you keep all your games organized but what it's really doing is keeping tabs on you and trying to sell you other games. I HATE this. I called EA Games and there is nothing they can do, that is the way it comes. So, if you don't mind a game client running in the background and trying to sell you other games at every opportunity you may want to buy it in the store instead of getting a download, that may be different. As for the game, it's great, I even got my prissy sister, who hates zombies playing it!!
