As far as day sheets go, this seems like it will work fine. The fabric is tough and it appears to be well made. I especially like the front buckles: they are easy to adjust and unlikely to pop off like some other, more expensive models. Same goes for the surcingles.

The reason for the two-star rating is that it did not come with the adjustable leg straps. Having had other sheets without leg straps get discombobulated when the horse is out and about, we bought this sheet specifically because it was supposed to come with leg straps. But even if the one I got did have leg straps, I'm not sure where they would get connected; there aren't any D-rings or loops through which straps could be connected. I'm not sure what went wrong - other reviewers have commented on how great the straps are - and since I need the sheet now and Amazon's out of stock on the size I need, we'll need to ride it out and hope for the best (no pun intended). Just be aware that you might not be getting what you think you're ordering.

Though we sent this sheet to our horses new owner without him wearing it very much, we have bought a couple of the other colors and know that for the price these are great cheets, especially if your horse is hard on them. You are NOT spending a mint on these and are able to keep him clean and or warm as a layer for a turnout sheet.

It fits at its advertised size. It looks nice. I have a Thoroughbred, and it works for him. As a stable sheet, it is at its best, but he has gotten turned out in it with no unfortunate consequences to him or the sheet. I is nice to have the good, elastic leg straps on a sheet.
