The syrup by itself is very sweet and has a balanced lavender flavor. I used the syrup to make a lavender chai and a lavender latte. In the chai I was unable to taste the lavender in the 8oz mixture of chai/milk with one tablespoon of syrup. The drink became heavily sweet, but it may have also been the combination of chai and syrup that made it overly sweet. I used it again to make an 8oz latte, it mixed in 2 teaspoon instead and was still unable to taste the lavender and was still very sweet. I think the syrup would work better in an ice drink or a cocktail. Will have to experiment with different drinks a ratios.

This is such a naughty treat! Pure sugar but it had so many purposes. I can make it at home but it takes time I don't have extra of. It is just the right ratio of lemon to sweet with a balanced taste. Lovely in beverages, nice on pancakes made with almond flour and fresh lemon zest. When I have time I will experiment with using other ways.

I have and continue to be a regular customer of this fine syrup. The dominant flavor is simply that of lavender. There is no sickly sweet flavor that makes me want to gag like Torani or Monin. This is the real deal and reminds me of the syrups offered by food vendors in the markets of Budapest. The only problem I have with this syrup is that I want more of it. If the company were to branch out into elder flower and perhaps sour cherry then I would be simply ecstatic.

I make my own mint syrup annually to flavor my favorite mint juleps but ran out prematurely this year. Ordered this syrup based on the reviews and the fact it wasn't pumped full of green food coloring. This syrup is just as good as what I make myself and saved the day/months I would have had to do without until our mint crop replenished.
