Other than that I thought I read that it cut up to 2 5/8", which was my own fault, it has done exactly what it is supposed to do.. I would personally never use these cutters for anything smaller than 1 1/8" pipe but I'm sure they work just as well..

this will actually work on 2 1/2" cts ID pipe.

i have used this cutter multiple time on 2 1/2" CTS ID copper tubing and it just barely fits but does make the cut. amazing for working on mains cutting in tees or just close area cuts. the only thing i have noticed is it all ways leaves a ridge that depending on the fitting needs a quick file. completely worth the money for any Plumber, Med Gas, Or Heating installer that uses larger then 1" ID copper tubing
