Used (daily) with 8 lb. Poodle-mix and 12 lb. Bish-Poo. REALLY calms the dogs down. The dogs seem to understand not to move/fidget on the raised platform. I use the harness just as a backup. Makes combing/brushing/teeth/ear cleaning so much easier. Grooming/trimming is much easier as well. I simply place the table on top of my kitchen bar. I easily rotate the entire grooming table to work on the other side of the dog(s).

The turn-table is solid and well made. It's heavy and stable. Very easy to use. You can get different size cinches for the size of your dog from just about anywhere on Amazon. I haven't looked but I'm sure you can find or improvise an extension for the arm if needed. It works great for our seven pound Maltese who has knots that are nearly impossible to manage and out ten pound Pomeranian who just needs an ocassional trim. I highly recommend it. Very reasonable price too.

I love this thing. If you have a small dog, this is great. The turn table is what I loved most as my dogs are basically fine without the lead. But I wish the post was a bit longer and not so light. I have four dogs and my oldest is a LhasaPoo and weighs 17lbs, she is too tall for the lead and the post. It tends to get on the way of the clipper cord.
The last issue I have is just that I wish it could fold flat somehow for storage. The bottom post sticks out, only the top portion is rejuvenate, unless I'm missing something.

I waited too long to purchase this, it's amazing. I use it at home to groom my small dogs. It made the task so much easier since I'm able to sit and see them better at eye level to view what I'm doing. I did purchase a second harness to help hold up their back end (they keep sitting). Easy to clean and store since it's not very wide. Life changer! I've worked in grooming environments in the past and this could also be used for professionals, in my opinion.

I have been grooming my dogs for the past 16 years and I once had a big grooming table when I lived in a house with lots of room. I got rid of it when I downsized to an apartment and began to use the kitchen counter for grooming. It makes a mess in the kitchen and I missed watching tv while I groomed. So I went looking for a better way and came upon this "table". Not really a table but more of a platform for the dog to stand on. I was unsure if this would work for my dogs due to the 18 inch diameter. I have a small Bichon and a medium Cockapoo, so I ordered it to see for myself if it was big enough for my dogs. Once I got it and put it together I was still skeptical. So I decided to just dive right in and try it. I groomed my Cockapoo with it and was amazed! She stood in place on the mat with the tether in place and even when I turned the platform to get access to her, she just stood calmly. There was just enough room for her feet in place. I had placed the "grooming pedestal" on a short table so I could sit and groom while watching tv. It worked out perfectly! For a bigger dog I could rotate the stem and tether and let them stand on the big table and be tethered to stay in place from the platform pole. I like that it is sturdy, easily rotates with a 19 lb dog standing on it, and can be carried all over the house or out on the deck. When done I set it out in my storage room until next use. It is perfect for my needs and much more convenient than a big folding table. Love the purple mat too!
