It is perfect pocket device and it is accurate!
Excellent little pocket meter that I always keep on me

I use this meter as a highly convenient tool to troubleshoot fire alarm/low voltage problems, after getting sick of carrying around a full Fluke meter. No ammeter function does hurt it a bit, but to be honest that is something that I rarely need anyways, so this meter is absolutely my daily driver.
The biggest strikes against this is that it does not have a lit display, and it does not have any sort of magnet or strap to hang the meter to be able to use the leads with both hands. I fixed the latter problem by rigging a spare Fluke magnet to the back, but it would be nice if the product came with that in the first place.
I found the lead covers a bit cumbersome too, and eventually lost them, since they aren't well secured in the case. I ultimately found that I don't really need them, so that doesn't really bother me.

Great pocket meter, you can easily disable the piezo beep

I really like this meter and the build quality, however like another reviewer I was irritated by the beeping, so I removed the piezo buzzer contactors, there are two black conductive silicone rubber studs that connect the gold piezo disc to the circuit board, I simply removed those two black conductive rubber studs and no more audio feedback.
I think a backlight and slightly faster ranging would be great additions to this meter, perhaps an NCV tester with separate button, I despise always on NCV alert functions like on my extech.

Quality unit made in Japan

I already had the Hioki pencil tester. I bought this unit to keep in the car. Biggest complaint: The probe wires are pretty short! I wish I bought a second Hioki pencil tester instead because of the longer wires. Unit is integrated into a rugged clamshell case, so it should be more rugged than the pencil tester, which has no case.
