First, I need to disclose that I did not order this to use as a suggestion box. I ordered it to use as a bank. My daughter wanted to start a 52 week saving plan--the one where you save $52 the first week, $51 the next, etc.. until the end of the year at which time you would save $1378. She wanted something that was opaque (so she couldn't see the money and be tempted!), sturdy and reusable, with a lock and a place to hold a record of each week's deposit. I will say it was a challenge to find something of that nature until I happened upon a series of suggestion boxes. I ended up ordering this because it checked every box on her checklist. When I presented her with the box, she gave me the key to hold on to (again avoiding temptation) . The lock isn't like one you'd find at Fort Knox but it's not designed to be. This is, after all, a suggestion box. The box is definitely solid. It can be mounted to the wall but I doubt she will ever use that feature. The slot is at the top so she can drop in the money but is small enough so she cannot shake it out (again, avoiding temptation!). I asked her how the box was working out and she was excited to tell me how much money she has saved so far this year. I was happy to surprise her with this because I want to encourage her to save money and you have to start someplace. I hope she will use it for years to come.

I have worked for a local non-profit for many years. I do a considerable amount of public speaking and fund raising for the organization. Church fundraising drives are a main stay of our revenue stream. I am frequently outside the church at a table speaking with folks and I need a strong, secure donation box to receive anonymous money and checks. Your product fits the bill.

The nonprofit currently has two plastic see thru boxes in poor condition - both locked w/no keys available!!!! In frustration I decided to get MY OWN lock box and keep it for my personal use. I went on line to see what was available for my purpose. I could not believe the number of cardboard and see-thru plastic products being marketed for this purpose - REALLY????

I understand that this item is a "suggestion box", but it most closely fit my needs and so I decided to take a chance on it. I was disappointed in the size. I wish it was a little bigger, but that is my bad for not checking the dimensions more closely. I used it for the first time at a church drive last weekend. It filled up very quickly which required frequent emptying of the box (very generous church members).

Only one gentleman came up to me with a check in hand and a quizzical look on his face. I pointed to your box. He said, "I just wanted to make sure it was not for suggestions" 😞😞😞. I was sooo sure no one would know. Everyone else knew exactly what if was for though.

I like the feel, strength, texture and security of the box. I just wish it was a little bigger - similar to the inferior boxes being touted for the same purpose. It will get much use for my purpose. With these comments in mind, you may want to consider marketing a "donation box" specifically for the purpose I've explained.

We use this as a drop box for donations. We can place the envelopes in the front pocket. It is great.

Surprise! This is the best quality product out there. Strong, sturdy and a great size. Just exactly what I needed so I ordered 3 more.
When I looked at other similar donation boxes, they were acrylic or see thru and about half this size for 3 times the price.
I decided to get this one as it was a great deal. When it arrived it was absolutely the toughest, most professional box I have seen. It also came with suggestion papers and 4 different labels. Hardware and 2 keys!
