Works well, even better with easy mods.

I'm sort of puzzled by all the people who write about this as if it's an ordinary carpet tool. To me, it's intended solely for wet pickup (GULP-er, get it?) which it does pretty well. I modified mine to remove the rear squeegee so that it wouldn't push water aside on the back stroke, which means that it picks up only in the "pull" direction, but that's okay since the front squeegee leaves the floor pretty dry. I also put a "tire" on the rear wheels so that the front blade would make better contact with the floor. Moral of the story: in factory trim it works okay. Modified, it works great.

This thing is awesome, let me tell you more about how I am using this. I am using this as an attachment to my Central Vacuuming system. I live alone with a Dog and have almost all hardwood floors except the guest room which has a rug.
My Central Vacuuming system came with less than stellar attachments to handle the large square footage of hardwood floors.
I received this today from Amazon Via FedEx... I immediately took it out and started vacuuming and had all my floors vacuumed in record time.
It sucks up dog hair without a problem, and because of the design it vacuums well in all the corners.
I have no idea what the longevity of it may be, But I am considering buying a second just to have on hand.

Now my vacuum sucks up all the dog/cat hair and dirt instead of pushing it around. It wasn't the vacuum's fault it was the floor brush, they just push everything around, now with the gulper it's like having a new vacuum, glad I didn't buy the new $300+ dollar vacuum instead.
