Ordered this as a replacement for the floor lamp globe that was broken during a move. The glass is thick milk glass and very sturdy. It fit exactly as expected. It was expensive but it was also the only one I found that was just what I needed, so I guess the cost is relative. It came within a day and was well-packaged. I would buy from this seller again.

I measured the fitting size for a shade in the unheated garage when it was about 20 below. (Don't do this!). Because I was highly motivated to get out of the garage asap, I measured incorrectly.
