Bags for the old Hoover are almost impossible to find, and when you find them they are so expensive! Good old Amazon has bags at a reasonable price, and they ship them right to your door. It just doesn't get better than that.

I am very pleased with these bags. I needed many bags quickly and bought these thinking as long as they didn't break that would be good. (History - Fleas in our house and used diatomaceous earth which worked but then the clean up was horrific!) These not only "worked" but have a great little sticky closure tab on the entry hole so when you pull the bag off, you can immediately close and seal it. Very helpful when you're working with fine dust and/or fleas! They are sturdy bags and didn't break or tear although I was careful to only let them get about 1/3 full for that very reason while vacuuming such fine dirt. A hint here - be sure to clean the internal filters on your vacuum when cleaning fine dust/dirt so you don't burn up your motor. I'm so pleased with how well these held up and the great price that I'm buying more because you never know what the grandkids or dogs are going to bring in next.

Good to find these on amazon, most stores do not carry bags anymore.
I rescued a vacuum from my dumpster to see what was wrong with it as my vacuum needed a beater as its bearings were bad and was extremely loud, cost 1/2 the price of a new hoover, was hoping to use beater off similar hoover from dumpster only to find that the only thing wrong with the one outta the dumpster was its BAG was full otherwise it worked just fine....LOL guess they could not find bags for it.
